Everyone Photographs Jewelry This Way, Right?

I'm working on photographing some jewelry I've recently made and there is a smidge of sunshine this morning on the back deck.

Everyone photographs jewelry next to their barbecue grill on the deck on top of stacked wooden patio stools with a pillowcase for a backdrop, tomato sauce cans holding down the corners from flying up in the wind, hanging earrings from a Korean rice bowl and waiting for the moment when the sunshine peeks through the clouds and hits the crystals just right and the wind isn't blowing them sideways, right?

yep except for me it's scrapbook projects....I sometimes wonder what the neighbours must think :D
Hope you are having a good week so far! Can't wait to see the jewelery!

Well, actually, my method would be to balance on one foot holding the camera (never think to set up the tripod!) and holding the pillowcase down with the other foot (because I would have been too stupid to get the tomato sauce cans) and wrenching around in some awful postion. I wonder why my photos are always blurry?! HA!

So where are these photos?!? POST THEM! Please? We all want to see your beautiful jewelry!
